Welcome to WoWMoM 2027

Welcome to the 28th IEEE Symposium on a World of Wireless Mobility, IoT and Machine Learning (WoWMoM), the conference for researchers and practitioners interested in all aspects of wireless and mobile networking, the Internet of Things, and machine learning for networked and pervasive systems.

WoWMoM 2027 will be a four-day event with a technical programme including paper presentations, keynote speeches, hot-topic panel sessions, workshops, and a postgraduate forum. Accepted papers will be submitted for inclusion into IEEE Xplore subject to meeting IEEE Xplore's scope and quality requirements.

Scope

The conference technical programme focuses on wireless and mobile networking technologies and their key role in future Internet scenarios. The symposium focuses on the increasing challenges that characterise those networks: dense populations of connected IoT devices and final users, the edge-cloud continuum that serves them, and the machine learning methods used to operate, optimise and secure them at scale. Content distribution, quality of service and experience remain firmly in scope, alongside the retrieval, publication and management of information, communication between users and devices, and the creation and exploitation of context awareness. Papers that present original work, validated by experimentation, simulation, or analysis, are solicited. Practical experiences and experimental efforts from both industry and academia, duly documenting the lessons learned from testbeds, field trials, or real deployments, are also welcome.
